Siyom River

The Indian Defense Minister inaugurated a 100 meter long bridge on the Siyom River near Arunachal's northern border with China.

■ Siyom river originates in the south of the main ridge of 'Assam Himalaya' near the border of Tibet.

■ It is a right bank tributary of the Brahmaputra river and flows latitudinally in Arunachal Pradesh.

The Siom initially flows in a southerly direction, later flowing in an east and south direction through "West Siang District".

■ It flows through the western boundaries of Mouling National Park.

■ Saje River is the important of its tributaries.
